Strict protocols

The DOTr said inbound international passengers will be allowed entry, subject to strict immigration and quarantine protocols.  The DOTr said that the IATF had agreed that passengers coming from Italy and Iran, where cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have soared, should provide a medical certificates of good health and should be validated by their respective embassies.

“Sweeper flights for foreign nationals to bring them to airports will be allowed to continue operations,” the DOTr added.

The DOTr, meanwhile, reminded that only one person will be allowed to bring a passenger to the airport and he/she must leave immediately after dropping off the passenger.

“The driver should carry with him/her a copy of the airline ticket of the passenger as proof of conveyance,” DOTr said.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT SCHEDULES

Clark International Airport will remain operational to service inbound and outbound international flights that will operate throughout the duration of the quarantine period, subject to the Enhanced Community Quarantine guidelines.

In compliance with the Philippine Inter-Agency Task Force Joint Resolution No. 13 allowing foreign nationals, balikbayans and OFWs to depart the Philippines during the Quarantine period, Clark International Airport (“CRK”) announces that it will remain operational to service international flights, subject to the Enhanced Community Quarantine guidelines. 

Moreover, the public is advised to observe ground transportation rules when traveling to and from the airport. Public land transportation such, public utility vehicles, and taxi services will not be operational during this time. Only P2P buses from Clark to NAIA and vice versa will be operational subject to continued approval.

This is also subject to any further directives set by the Philippine IATF and the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

To ensure the safety of passengers and their families Clark International Airport has introduced additional measures and disinfecting techniques, as well as increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting the high traffic and contact areas within the terminals. Temperature monitoring points include the Main Terminal Entrance, Departure areas, Exit, and Arrival areas.

DEPARTING PHILIPPINES

It is suggested that you allow 2 to 3 hours for domestic travel, 3 to 4 hours for international travel prior to your departure time in order to complete the necessary check-in, security and Immigration formalities.

Make sure your hand-carry and check-in baggage meets the strict requirements, if in doubt check with the airline.

What may be allowed as a hand carry item in the Philippines may not be allowed in another country, for example cigarettes and tobacco, alcoholic drinks and certain food items. Check the customs requirements for the countries you will be flying via or in to.

Make sure you have a valid visa and onward ticket for the country if required and your passport has a minimum of six months validity.

Please be informed that airlines will now be asking for 2 valid ID's upon check-in, this may be due to the increasing number of passengers using fraudulent tickets and falsified IDs. Also be reminded that using tickets issued under another guest's name you may be charged with civil and criminal action under existing law and may face imprisonment for up to 20 years.
